Become a Money Master Today

Over the decades of trading stocks, there is one rule I always follow. How much risk am I willing to take investing in a company. Second rule, is this a value or growth company. Third, do I know or use what this company produces, because if I don't - no one will want to invest in that company, and the goal is to beet the market to the punch before the stock pops or drops. Back in 2000, I invested in a company called 'WebVan' they thought people would want home deliveries like we have today with Uber Eats or Grubhub. I was correct, people do want that, but I was 20 years to early and lost $6,500 in buying a stock that would be gone in 2 years, and so was my money. Most people think becoming better with money requires a higher income, a financial degree, or years of discipline. But money mastery begins much earlier than that. It starts with awareness. The moment you understand where your money is going, what emotions influence your decisions, and which habits are keeping you stuck, you begin taking back control.
Money is not only about numbers. It is also connected to fear, confidence, identity, patience, and self-worth. Some people spend to feel better. Others avoid looking at their finances because the truth feels overwhelming. Real change begins when you stop judging yourself and start observing your patterns with honesty.
You do not need to fix everything in one day. Start by looking at your current numbers, identifying one unnecessary expense, saving a small amount, or paying down one balance. Small financial decisions may seem insignificant, but repeated consistently, they build stability, confidence, and momentum.
Becoming a money master also means learning how to make your money work for you. That could mean improving your skills, increasing your income, building an emergency fund, investing for the future, or creating more than one source of revenue. Wealth grows when you combine better decisions with patience, knowledge, and consistent action.
You do not have to be perfect with money to become powerful with money. You simply need to become more intentional than you were yesterday. Learn your numbers, respect your resources, and make one smart financial move today. Money mastery is not something reserved for the wealthy. It is how wealth is built.
